Please stay a child somewhere in your heart...
"Baby slow down; the end is not as fun as the start
Please stay a child somewhere in your heart"
"I was just guessing numbers and figures, pulling puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and progress don't speak as loud as my heart!"
Life perhaps ends once you're a certain age. Question is: how spoiled can you really afford to be? For how long? Random choices after all hold a permanent milestone in one's life. But isn't that the way to go about it, like they say? Go ahead. Do that. Indulge. Life is for once and all the other crap that comes with it, and does rounds on twitter and facebook every once in a while. You have to remain a child "somewhere in your heart" to feel that, or say to even qualify to call yourself an undamaged human being. I am here. I am now. And I like something a particular way - no questions asked.
When interest in something is lost, perhaps that's where we waste the childhood the most. People often complain that little things don't feel so special anymore, but it's no one else but us who let the grown ups' troubles actually affect us. The sun is still the same. Nothing really changes physically, but hey, you don't have to really look at everything from your skin and bones alone.
Indulge. Indulge today. Indulge now. Maybe you can teach others around you a thing or two. Maybe you can help yourself recover some of the precious childhood - the sunshine, the rain and the dance.
Go out with someone you like. Don't think. Go strike a conversation or just stick around for a while. Soon we may expire. Soon it may not matter. Soon the gates may shut forever. The oceans may rise and sweep everything off. Or the shockwaves may turn us into particles before you put on the TV. Until then, it's your time. Go share a laugh. Do a good deed. Help someone. Love something. Be anyone.
